Summer School: Details were sent home with your child TODAY. If you are interested, please ask your student for the yellow paper summer school paper given to them by their teacher. The dates are June 14 - July 15, Mon. - Thurs., from 8am - 2pm. Before and after care is available.
Fundraisers: As is the case with many schools, our school has a serious budget deficit, yet we continue to try our best to offer a Catholic education to all children in the Cicero and Berwyn communities who desire it. With this in mind, we are planning two additional fundraisers before the end of the school year: popcorn sale and Read-a-thon. Our last popcorn sale was so successful that we are having a second sale this year from April 28 - May 1. More information will be forthcoming, but please plan to support us with this “contactless” and COVID-safe fundraiser!
Schoolbelles Uniforms at 7661 S. Harlem Avenue in Bridgeview is having a sale:
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not having a kindergarten “graduation” ceremony this year.
Parent volunteers are needed to help with Olympic Day (an outdoor activity day for grades 1 - 8) on Friday, May 21, and also for an 8th grade outdoor picnic on Monday, May 24. Email me (fszarate@olc-school.org) or phone Mrs. Avalos in the office if you can help out: 708 652-0262 ext. 201.
